Getting to the Isle of Lewis

Ferry Travel
Caledonian MacBrayne runs a ferry service from Ullapool to Stornoway, (6 miles away); alternatively there is a ferry from Uig on Skye to Tarbert, Isle of Harris (about 40 miles away, but the same landmass): www.calmac.co.uk .

Flights:
Stornoway Airport is a ten minute drive away and is operated by  HIAL  – The Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd.

Bus Travel:

The Western Isles  bus services run direct to Stornoway, or offer connection to/from Stornoway. Most services run Monday to Saturday. Please check the Western Isles Council website for an up to date time table – Isle of Lewis:
